Slump in property price in UK

There was a sharp fall in real estate price all over UK. The downfall which had commenced in the summer now gathered the proverbial moss in its path. The price fall is attributed to the spending cut measures that have been instituted by the present government in UK. The nation experienced the largest ever decline that is 1.5 percent since April 2009 that has ever been experienced till now. The price of a house in UK in the month of October fell by £2,376.

On the other hand there has been a reported jump in GDP by 0.8 percent. The banks of UK are still concerned about the effect that this drop in prices would have on its financial standing and the economic growth of the country. This effect had been seen even in Japan and the loss is still being recovered.

Far flung effect of this fall could also be noted amongst other ancillary business houses that provided material for building of houses as well as furniture sale. A firm carrying out an asbestos survey in UK also came up with figures indicating a lowering of demand for this important material in house building.

The plunge in house prices was noticed in 2008 and thereafter it had shown signs of rising once again from May 2009. Even mortgage business plunged during this season and that was brought out by reports that have been making to the print media. Many a connected reasons have been attributed to this trend and thinkers at the high places are worried about the final outcome if this trend cannot be stalled.

There are other experts also however who differ in this drastic or gloomy view. As per them the demand as of now is low however they find no reason to hit the panic button just so early. Such school of thought has the opinion that with a higher degree of correlation between property prices and the economy the property market would rise up again.

So the question stands do you hang on to your property or now is it time to sell up and buy a bunch of villas in Spain, whilst they property market is suffering worse than our.
